If you need help when we are closed
There is always a doctor on call to deal with urgent problems when the surgery is closed.
Overnight and weekend cover is provided by the GP Out of Hours Service, which is commissioned by Wirral Place. Advice or an appointment will be offered, but it is not appropriate to just call in at the Out of Hours Service – you need to ring first.
All calls to the OUT OF HOURS service will be recorded.

How to make a complaint
We hope that most problems can be sorted out easily and quickly, often at the same time that they arise and with the person concerned. If your problem cannot be sorted out in this way and you wish to make a complaint, we would like you to let us know as soon as possible in writing using our complaints form which can be downloaded, collected from the Practice or can be sent to you on request – ideally within a matter of days or at most a few weeks – because this will enable us to establish what happened more easily. If it is not possible to do that, please let us have details of your complaint:
- within 12 months of the incident that caused the problem; or
- within 12 months of discovering that you have a problem.
