Urine Samples
Female patients aged 18 to 65 years who think they have a urine infection can speak to their local pharmacist in the first instance as they may be able to issue antibiotics. Contact your local Pharmacy.
The Practice will no longer accept urine samples that have not been requested by a clinician and are not accompanied by one of our request forms.
If you think you have a urine infection and are over the age of 65 years or male, please contact the practice through Blinx. A sample will be required. Please bring one in to the practice reception, and complete the appropriate form before you hand the sample in for testing. Please note: All samples should be brought into the practice before 1pm each day, as the pathology lab samples are collected after this time.
